This past year has been life changing for New Orleans artist 504icygrl! The seasoned artist has been working tirelessly since the start of her music career in 2019 while also establishing her own label, cannabis brand, clothing brand, and event company. 504icygrl headlined her first tour last year after dropping her third project, Princess Diaries, which she brought out superstars such as Lola Brooke & sold out two cities & thousands of tickets nationwide. Presenting irrefutable talent and energy to her audience, 504icygrl has gotten coverage from some of the best in entertainment such as OkayPlayer, Offbeat Magazine, Broke2Dope, Loading Magazine and others. Her efforts have also landed her a Nike campaign for their 40th anniversary AF1 NOLA shoe. Now the ”504 Princess” is set to drop her 4th EP “Laid”.
504icygrl’s Aries energy shines bright in her 4th EP “Laid” – mixed by notable New Orleans super producers Raj Smoove & Richard Weber. The 6 song EP boasts new tracks such as “Givin”, “Headache”, & “Tourin’ while also including 504icygrl’s popular singles “Hoes Don’t Like” & “Cross Dat Water”. The “504 Princess” features 3 artists on this EP – PoppyH [on Headache”], Lex Andretti [on Tourin’], and Dualitè [on Laid Skit]. “Laid” is mostly influenced by 504icygrl’s hometown (New Orleans) legends such as BG, Juvenile, Magnolia Shorty, Partners N Crime and DJ Jubilee. “I love my city – our culture runs so deep and I feel like our artists deserve more. I want to keep showcasing our sound and put us on the map!” – 504icygrl. “Laid” is 504icygrl’s first project since signing a management deal with legendary DJ/Producer Raj Smoove [The Gentilly Agency] which dropped May 26th via Create Music & Krewe The Label.
